Does poking your stomach count for kick counts??

36+3 & baby hasn’t moved much this morning.
Does poking my stomach count if he moves when I do so?

I’m not 100% but I would count that too. Just as long as baby is making movement I’d assume

I think so. I went for an ultrasound last week and baby didn’t want to move for them and so she started poking her and ended up using this little tool that vibrated lol. She was just napping and moved fine , had to wake her up I guess

Yes it does!! Any movement even if you make it happen counts. As long as you’re able to feel baby move 10 times in 2 hours , preferably more

I was told to eat something and lay down. Count for an hour. If you don’t feel 19 kicks to drink something cold and sweet and go lay on your left side. If you still don’t feel 10 within an hour to go to L&D. She never mentioned poking or making baby move. I think they want to see if baby moves in their own.
