Membrane sweep

Just got one done today at 38+6 and all I feel are slight period cramps but no real contractions.

It can help, but ultimately baby won't come until they're ready.

I had one at 38 weeks and it didn't do anything. My 39 weeks appointment is Thursday so ill do it again. Both my closest friends and my sister in law had membrane sweep for weeks 37,38,39,& 40 and they didn't work for any of them.

It worked with my first!! With my second (I had her today-induced) I have lost count how many sweeps I had and my god they did not work or help!!!It’s pure luck!! Lots of walking and squatting, bouncing on ball for the next 24/48 hours to give the best chance of working!! good luck!!

I had one at 39 weeks I was a finger tip dilated nothing happen !! Nothing even a cramp lol not even a little spotting 😭😮‍💨 I have an an induction schedule in just 1 day on due date I’m opting out and going to try for second sweep hopefully something changes then ! I really want to goto natural labor

It can help if your body is already ready. Stay as active as you can.
