Ideally I would love a hands free one but have heard they don’t empty as well so I’m unsure about how the Freemie would go.

I used the Spectra S2 with no issues exclusively pumping. It is very quiet so it won't wake baby or spouse. There is also a night light so you can see during mid night pumping sessions. I was able to find replacement parts on Amazon no problem.  I was a first time mom using this pump. I highly recommend. I'm pregnant with my second and will be getting the cordless one this time so I don't have to be near an outlet.

I wanted a handsfree but didn’t want to rely solely on a handsfree. 
I got a spectra free through insurance and then bought the momcozy s12 with my own money. Best decision ever. I liked having both! And the momcozy was inexpensive and worked soo good!

I used a Medela pump and the freemie when my 4 year old was a baby. She couldn't nurse so we were exclusively pumping. I fell in love with the convenience of the freemie so I started using it primarily and only used the Medela when I hadn't cleaned the freemie. I didn't realize until it was too late that it wasn't removing enough milk to keep my supply up, and I lost most of my supply in a week or two. I never was able to get it back so we ended up having to switch to formula. I was devastated. I would not recommend the freemie at all, no matter how convenient.

I have the motif Luna and the Freemie.
Freemie was great for me to take to work, no complaints.
Luna is also great, only complaint was being plugged to a wall all the time. I would have gone for the battery option.

I’ve watched countless YouTube video reviews on breast pumps. And for new moms who’ve never pumped the spectra S2 wins hands down every time, but the motif Luna gets amazing reviews for its power. Both are quite chunky so if you need something more portable I’d look into other machines. Also keep in mind spectra has been around for a while so parts are more easily accessible and can even be found in stores, while the Luna is newer and therefore parts aren’t as easy to find (but there is an Amazon shop you can purchase them at). Both customer service lines get amazing reviews
