We leave for the hotel Sunday morning - going into hospital Monday morning.
Is it okay to put the car seat in yet?

Install the base but don't bring the seat until you're actually heading to the hospital.

I installed my base but didn’t put the car seat in until it was time. If you get in an accident, you only need to replace the base then.

I installed my cars seat at 35 weeks just to be safe so if I went into early labor or anything I knew it was installed and I had time to get it checked. Totally OK to install it now.
