Period cramping after membrane sweep - could it be the start of labour?

I had a membrane sweep yesterday, since I have had a few irregular contractions and pretty constant period like cramping - could this be the start of something? What did it feel like after for other people? 
I have also been getting lots of mucus with blood streaks in it

I had this happen at my sweep was convinced i was in labour went to hospital but wasn’t. Got another sweep yesterday at 3cm dilated and thought again last night I was in labour. Contractions lasted for 6 hours but then stopped in the night🤷🏽‍♀️ im about to cry I wanna have this baby so bad lol my pregnancy has been awful and my constant sciatic nerve pain in my leg is almost too much to bare

I had a sweep Wednesday afternoon and have been having contractions that start and then stop for a while since I had it done. They were getting stronger last night and I was thinking we’re going to be heading to the hospital but then they stopped again 🙄. Hoping they get more consistent! Hope your cramps lead to labour!! 🤞🏻
