35 weeks + baby is sideways

So Thursday at our dr Appt. Our baby boy was laying sideways, his head under my right rib cage at 35 weeks 2 days, at 31 weeks he was on my left side under my ribs. But With that being said we go back next week to see if he’s turned which he flipped sides so we’re hoping he’ll turn before next Friday, but if not then at 37 weeks we could go ahead with the ECV to try and possible end up having a c section then if his heart rate drops at all during, or we can schedule a c section closer to 39 weeks. I do not want to go throw the ECV but I also don’t want to have a c section but I’m willing to do whats best for baby. I’m just terrified! Has anyone experienced the same thing but at the last minute they turn head down?
