Will the test be accurate

My period is "late" by 20 days will the test be accurate? I started a new job and I'm working on moving out of my parents home so yes I am very stressed and now I'm also worried I could be pregnant. I'm going to test tomorrow with my boyfriend and was wondering if it will be accurate
