Best time to do a baby shower?

Due December 19th, shower on October 15th. It’s a personal preference, but I like to have things done in advance!

Due December 16th and I’m having mine Oct 22. It was the only weekend in October most of my family are available lol. I considered this month only because it’s such a busy time of year 
I would definitely do it before thanksgiving!

We’re due December 18th and mine is set for October 9th. Gives us enough time to get things in place before baby arrives so it’s not overwhelming. 
For our daughter we also did 2 months ahead and felt that was the perfect timeline to find everything a home and see what we maybe still needed.

With my first I had it 4 weeks before due date and was worse decision, I was so big and uncomfortable. My end of it my feet had doubled in size and was having cramps after all the next day. 
This time I’m due Xmas day and having it 23rd October, 9 weeks before due date.. was looking at start of November so was 7/8 weeks but no dates available.

We have the same due date and I am having mine on October 22nd. That way I have plenty of time to get the last minute needs. I had to have my daughter at 35 weeks and wasn’t able to have a baby shower so this time around I am making sure that I am getting one.

You can do it when you want. I don't think there's a best time just what works for your schedule.  I'm due beginning of Dec and having one middle of Oct because I may need a c section at 37 weeks.

Anywhere between 1-2 months is good. You don’t want to wait too long in case baby comes early. 
You could do it closer to the due date if you want. I had #2’s baby shower 2 weeks before she arrived. I was fine with the later shower because all we really needed was diapers and wipes.
With our babies arrived in December this time, I would think that earlier showers would be better for our guests because it is one less thing to fit into an already very busy month.
