Plug ins toxic to dogs??

We’ve been using glade plug ins for about a year now and I just saw a post on fb today saying the bath and body works plug in scents are toxic to dogs. So now I’m worried the glade plug ins also are! I’ve unplugged the two we have and my dog has never acted differently or had any issues like diarrhea or vomiting. So I’m curious if they are toxic? And if they are what would be a good alternative? We use candles, but obviously they don’t give off as much of a scent as a plug in and can’t be left lit all day.
