Why am I SO ATTRACTED TO HIM?

Yalllll I usually go for the tall, buff, strong macho men… who USUALLY end up being not emotionally available
But lately.. theres this guy who is the complete opposite. Shorter (5’7), artsy, very emotionally mature and in tune with his emotions, plays music, and is INCREDIBLY kind and caring, brought me food when I was sick even as a friend. Is always there when I need him..
Definitely not the most physically attractive for suuure. But For some reason, as we developed this friendship, I’m finding myself finding HIM hot lol huh🥵🥵 its the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what I’m usually attracted to….
Has this happened to anyone? !

I think in the end we all go fro someone who we normally wouldn’t be immediately attracted to 😅 I always went for really skinny blonde guys, blue eyes. But my husband is a little stalkier and brown hair, dark eyes. I think it’s part of maturing on our end, realizing that you want something more than just looks, and probably realizing the pretty boys usually end up being fuck boys 🤣🤣 I do absolutely think my husband is attractive, but he’s the exact opposite of what I went for before

Always go for the man that makes you genuinely laugh every day. My husband is not who I would have gone for, but our first conversation he made me laugh so hard that I snorted, and he has made it a personal challenge to make me laugh that hard each and every day. For 3.5 years he has made me laugh Every. Single. Day.
Looks can factor in, but I think when you fall in love with someone's soul they become the most lovely thing ever.

I used to think i would end up with the tall, blonde hair blue eyed city boy and I married the shorter brown haired brown eyes, only wears boots and jeans country boy from Mississippi lol and if you ask my husband his type was the brown haired southern bell and he ended up with the blonde girl from California😂 i don’t think we could have been more opposite of each other’s “type”. Yep! I used to be attracted to the good lookers, pretty boys if you will. Had a lot going on in the looks and body department but probably not enough going on intellectually or emotionally.
Never worked out.
My husband is easy on the eye, but he's not what I would term a pretty boy - obviously he is gorgeous to me 💜
But he is very intelligent, we can have full conversations into the small hours about anything and everything, and he is emotionally mature too. Although that maturity can and does slip from time to time.
He absolutely rocks my universe with just a mere glance.

Attraction isn't on just looks alone and when you get to know someone it can creep in in different ways. A lot of people might say they don't find my partner attractive idc I'm insanely attracted to him! My partner was attacked at his Jon and lost a tooth and it tends to only show when he throws his head back and laughs really hard and I still get butterflies when I see that gap and grin 😍

Yes. My husband is someone I never thought I would married. He’s a little nerdy lol. Skinny. However, he has a good personality. Level headed. Has a good head on his shoulders. Understands my personality. (I’m playful, sarcastic, witty).
