False positives on pregmate strips…why?

Does anyone know why I’ve been randomly getting a few strips here and there that appear positive-ish, when the rest I’ve taken are negative? 
Any rhyme or reason? Sorry if it’s obvious, relatively new to this. One last night, one today. Got my period today, also FYI.

These strips have very bad dye runs. But still shouldn’t have a solid line on them. Maybe try and different brand?

I had one do this, I got a positive as well and the next test I took an hour later was negative.

Faulty tests, you should be able to contact the company and let them know your batch is faulty they may refund or send you a new batch
