Kids plates ?

Question

As silly as this may sound: what kind of plates do you use for your 5-8year old kids?
I feel like they outgrew our plastic set. They have stainless steel kiddie sized cutlery. But not sure what plates to let them use?
I feel like our “adult” plates and bowls still too big & heavy for them.
What is inbetween ? 🙈
They make little to none accidents, never broke a plate of glass…so I woupd trust them with anything.

We all use Corelle plates. Theyre not heavy. A lot of the plastics make scratches when you cut. Melamine has mixed perspectives about safety with hot foods. So my kids used Corelle starting at age 3.

My son has been using these since he was about 4 because I don’t want him ruining my good dishes. He’s almost 9.

Our 8-year old has been using our plates since he was maybe 4 or 5 and drinking out of our glasses since maybe 6.5.

Depending on what we have to eat they use our normal plates.

We have corelle dishes and that's what my 2 year old uses, and our regular utensils just the small ones

I didn’t even realize people didn’t use their dishes. My almost 3 year old uses our china, I mean he sits at the table with us so I didn’t think so even use different stuff

Mine still use the plastic ones and they’re 6 and 7. Or I use the plastic ones that have all the different sections.
