When should a child have their own room (Girls in particular)

My girls are the best of friends and have shared a room since my middle was 3 [3.5 years between the 2]
 My oldest hasn't expressed a want for her own room but I wasn't sure if there was a certain age I should present the idea

They don’t really need their own room. If you have an additional room, and at some point one asks for their own room, then it’s time. My daughters are 4 and 5 years old. We actually had their own rooms for them but they kept wanting to sleep in the same room. So how they share a bedroom. It will stay that way until they ask for their own.

I started my kids off in their own rooms. They will NEVER share a room. If we have more children than we have bedrooms then we will move into a bigger home. Since your kids are used to sharing then it might be best until one voices wanting their own space.

If you’ve got the spare room, I’d move one when they start expressing that they want their own space. 
But if you don’t have the space then I’d say they’d be fine sharing til their teens

I shared a room with my sister. My husband shared a room with his sister. My girls share a room.  Is there something wrong with that?

My daughter started asking for her own space at 11.

I never had my own room as a kid and I was fine. However, my kids all have their own rooms/bathrooms. They’re too young to care but I’m sure they’ll wanna share at some point, or maybe not because they started off in their own space? Idk, let them decide :)
