Is this normal amount of tampons?

I have been on birth control or pregnant/nursing for the last 10 years. I have PCOS and had irregular lighter periods before that. Well I am a 13 months out from having my last baby and my first cycle is heavy.. but how heavy is to heavy? I went through 5 super tampons and 3 regular pads 14 hours. Is this “normal”.
