Sick baby (long post)

Sabrina

So I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding for 7 months until baby went to school (which hasn’t even been a full month) She would take bottles at school only, well she recently has been sick with COVID, RSV, and an ear infection, and pretty much is refusing to nurse… I always felt like once she started using bottles she would prefer them over me, from the way she acted the one time I gave her a bottle early on… have any of you guys dealt with a nursing strike?? And how to fix it, or should I just wrap up breastfeeding… I wanted to make a year but this honestly just hasn’t been as easy as I feel like it should have been, and it’s such a feeling of defeat because she only recently started using a bottle only at school, and prefers it… it feels like I wasted so much energy trying to preserve this journey just for it to end so abruptly… idk and I don’t pump a lot of milk so I would never be able to sustain the supply from pumping… what would y’all do ?
