Can I give my 10 month old medicine?

So I think my son is getting sick. I’m not sure if it was the cold air or my nephew that is currently sick. Last night he kept waking up very fussy and when I would carry him I can hear him trying to swallow his saliva a lot and then he would cry. Today his boogers were running a little and it hasn’t happened for a few hours. I’m not sure if having the fan on also had something to do with it. Can I give him medicine or go to the doctor? Or?

There’s nothing the doctor can do for a cold. Also there’s no medicine that’s appropriate for a ten month old unfortunately. If he has a fever he can have some Tylenol, and you can use saline to try to keep his nose clear. But other than that he just needs to fight it off. Just keep him comfortable

Zarbees makes cold "medicine" for small babies. There really isn't much you can do for a cold besides saline, a humidifier, and some chest rub which Zarbees also makes

My oldest has always started like that. Through the night would cry and move all over and just be uncomfortable so that's how I always know he is getting some sort of cold. But they make some kids medicine but not much, main stuff for that age is homeopathic.

Unfortunately there isn’t a cough medicine or anything for colds for kids under 6 I believe. 
For fevers baby Tylenol or Motrin fluctuated until it is brought down that’s about as much as a baby/toddler can have. It’s not proven safe for cough medicines.
I would use nose frida to clear the boogies and humidifier
