Microneedling while Breastfeeding?

Is it safe to get microneedling for stretchmarks/scars while breastfeeding?

Just wait. Hormones change how the skin heals and the slight risk of infection on top of that simply makes it not worth the time or money.

I worked in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine and our office would not have done it. While it is probably safe there is still a slightly higher infection rate and can potentially hinder the final result as the body can sometimes  heal different during nursing. Also there is a chance you could develop more when you fully wran due to skin and hormone changes so my office would suggest to come in for a consult 3-6 months after you fully wean so if you pay to have it done you did all of them. I don't care about my stretch marks so never had it done but after I weaned baby 1 fully I actually got a a few new stretch marks as my body adapted to the change. I'd wait for that reason alone but most reputable places often are wary or any procedures on nursing women just to err on the side of caution.
