Bringing potted plants indoors

Does anyone here bring their outdoor potted plants indoors for the winter? I mean the flowers that are arranged all nicely in the big heavy pots that sit out on your patio. It’s getting cold here and winter is approaching. I just brought my herbs and tomato plant inside but my flowers are still looking pretty as ever and I feel bad letting them freeze to death out there. I know it’s totally normal to leave them at the end of season and buy new one wa next summer but is there a way to salvage them at all?
