My due date is 11/18 but was told by my doctor that I will be induced to “prevent” preeclampsia, I struggled with high blood pressure my whole life and barely passed my 3 hour glucose tests. I am so excited that he is going to be here earlier than I thought but i’m also loosing my mind because I thought i’d have more time. I plan to work up until the night before my induction which will be at 38-39 weeks but I am so stressed out. I am confident my husband can manage the household while I am out of work. I am use to working and not working is stressing me out already. I love having my own income. In the U.S they do not provide you with paid maternity leave unfortunately and neither does the company I work for so 12 weeks I will be out of work will be unpaid. Thankfully I have been saving and so has my husband so we have money put aside for bills and all of my personal bills will be paid (phone, insurance , car payment) . I am still very hesitant and my husband is a hard working man and pays most of the bills but it still worry’s me.
