My wife had been nursing our baby to sleep since birth which we have been relatively happy about. However, she is now 11 months old and my wife has returned to work. I can’t get our daughter down for a nap and when my wife gets home baby falls asleep almost immediately while nursing. During the time when mama is away, baby gets cranky and today didn’t want to take her bottle. (This is only day two of returning to work). She wants to be held almost the whole time (I have a hernia so this is difficult sometimes since she’s already 25 pounds). Does it get easier? How do I get her to drink her bottle and how do you get your baby to take a nap? She is obviously tired but wants mama for milk and sleep.
