Should I Retest ?

I took a test two nights ago it was negative today is supposed to be the first day of my period i haven’t gotten it yet  should I even bother retesting i just really don’t want to see another negative.

I would test again with first morning urine!

It's definitely possible that you hadn't implanted when you took the first test, or it was very soon after and therefore there wasn't much hCG in your system. 
If I were you, I'd test but only because I'm a pee on a stick addict. If you want to wait another day or two to see if AF shows before testing, that's ok too.
