How did you calculate your due date?

Question

I ovulate late in my cycle. According to LMP my due date is May 28th, but ovulation says my due date is June 2nd. Which would you go with?

The best way is by going to your doctor and getting a crown to rump length measurement. LMP and suspected ovulation date is good for NOW, but we go by measurements in the office.

I ovulated on either CD 27 or CD 31. I'm going with ovulation and not LMP lol. All the negative tests before CD 35 back me up too.

I'm the exact same boat. My lmp gives me a 28th May due date but according to my average cycle line/predicted ovulation (I didn't track opk this cycle!) I'm June 3rd. Kinda hoping June 3rd as my first baby is the start of May haha!

If you confirmed ovulation with an ovulation test kit & temperature (or if you felt ovulation pain like I did) then I’d use that.
If you’re using the app, it just gives you a rough idea based on the average woman’s cycle, so LMP might be better.
As the other comment said, your dating scan will confirm a more accurate date for you.

If you're sure of your ovulation date that's more accurate but they won't officially date it until your ultrasound which might give you a different date again.
