Any Kendall’s on here?

So my husband loves the name Kendall but I’m scared people will call her Kenny lol. Stupid I know but I don’t like Kenny at all. Curious if there are any Kendalls on here that can tell me if you’ve been called Kenny as a nickname throughout your life?

My name is spelled Kyndall. I ways felt like the “y” gave it an extra feminine touch. I haven’t ever had anyone mispronounce it or not immediately know what it was. One of my sorority sisters would call me “Kenny” but other than that no nicknames. ❤️

My son’s name is Nathan, and I absolutely will not let people call him Nate. If he wants that nickname later on, we’ll discuss it then. I can’t stand when people just assume they can call your child a different name.
I’d never think to call someone named Kendall “Kenny.” Also, if you want people to call them a name, be firm but not rude about it. I’ve just told people, “His name is Nathan, not Nate,” and it’s usually no longer an issue. Even the person he’s named after prefers Nathan. I say if you love the name, go for it!

Best advice I heard is if you hate the nickname don't use the name. Lol. And I had 2 Kendall friends growing up and they were both called Kenny
