We have had a long four days…

Saturday, I was in another city with my students for a competition. I noticed that I started bleeding in the morning. I had to finish the competition and take them home.

When I arrived at home, my husband, daughter and I went straight to the ER. After some tests, we were told that baby, gestational sac and yolk sac were fine, heartbeat was strong, but I was having a threatened miscarriage due to a UTI.

Sunday I rested and drank plenty of water. I got up on occasion to play with my daughter.

Monday, I went into my gynecologist for a follow up scan to make sure that baby was okay. The heart had stopped beating. 😞

I am so sad, but know that I need to be strong and thankful for my daughter, who is a beautiful and joyful 3 year old.

I lost my baby at 7 weeks and 3 days. It was early on, but still hard. Love to you all.
