Bad acne

Question

I have a very horrible face rn, my acne is horribke never have i gotten it this bad. I have it mostly in my lower cheek jaw line area, and they hurt bad. I was in acne medication it was spironalactone and another one not sure of the name but i dont want to go back to it because im trying to get pregnant and i know I cant take those if im trying or pregnant. Anything you guys know that helps ill post pics under.

You can dilute it with a base oil (like almond, coconut or olive oil) on a cotton pad then use as a drop treatment by patting the acne areas down. Do not use with retinoids or any other chemical treatments, do not use before going out in the sun. Also, make sure you try a test on a small area of skin before using in case you are allergic. Best of luck. The acne in the picture looks to be hormonal acne, I know, because I suffer the same. My naturopath recommended the tea tree oil, eating lots of Cruciferous vegetables

Use head and shoulders as face wash, the zinc will help especially if its fungal acne.

Try these products out, also look into a facial soap called African black soap. I have hormonal acne around my jawline, and this has really helped me.

Since you are trying to concierge, I assume that you are taking a prenatal vitamin? I was TTC for years and have experienced acne that got worse and worse. My attempts to conceive  were unsuccessful, and a few years ago I finally stopped taking the prenatal vitamins. I still have acne, but the very painful lumpy cysts  rarely occur now after stoping the prenatal. Turns out Biotin and traditional omega 3 in multivitamins trigger horrific hormonal acne. Check your prenatal multivitamins!

Overall the best thing that helped my acne was visiting a medical aesthetician once a month. They will be able to give the best reccomendations. I also love the brand I reccomended for building your skin barrier back up. Often the products we use for acne strip our moisture barrier and weaken our skin. This can sometimes make acne worse or our skin more sensitive.

That could be a fungal infection or staph folliculitis. Zinc should help either.

Is your diet lacking red meat and leafy green vegetables? If so, you're probably deficient in zinc and taking enough zinc can help clear your skin. You can get plenty from taking a ½ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp cinnamon powder in water in the morning, or in 8oz almond or oat milk at night. There are so many benefits to turmeric/zinc if you're interested in looking them up. 
They say no more than 40mg zinc a day, so you could start with that amount. I take 30mg a day and my skin is clearer than it's ever been. It looked just like yours recently, but I've been using CeraVe salicylic acid face wash, Organys Glycolic Acid 20% twice a week, and Equate Collagen moisturizer along with 30mg zinc a day and now I don't have a single pimple, red mark, or clogged pore on my skin which is a first in my 35yrs of life since becoming a teen.

Try Tretenoin it’s helped massively with my acne. You do get a month of ‘purging’ where acne does get worse but it massively improves after that
