How long after first steps did your baby walk?

So my baby took his first steps a few days ago. He’s been trying out one or two here and there after. I know every kid is different, but just wondering when your babies walked around more often.

Months. Our oldest was too scared. After her baby sister was born she saw me walking around and taking care of her. When she got her babydoll for Christmas she started copying me and following me around taking care of her baby too.

A week 😂. Once he realized he could walk, he was off. But he couldn’t get to a standing position on his own (without help from furniture or us picking him up) for about a month after he started walking

My first two, it was probably a week or two before they weee walking across a room. My third just took his first steps a week ago. The next day he was walking across a room. The day after that, he started walking across multiple rooms and now he goes wherever he wants, occasionally stumbles, but always catches himself with his hands or just ends up on his butt, rarely has enough momentum to end up slowly rolling to his back and lightly bonking his head. But it’s usually when a sibling runs by him super close or bumps him with a pillow or he steps on a toy. He’s amazed me, for sure. He was just super ready by the time he did it.

My first child took her first steps at 11 months. By her first birthday she was a confident walker. She was running a few months after that.
My second is a lot different which I expected to happen. I love how different they are. It’s a whole other experience for my husband & I. My second child started army crawling at 10 months. He started to crawl properly at 12 months. He started taking steps at 14 months. I am hoping that he will be actually walking within the next couple of months. He is gaining confidence & always smiles & looks at us when he takes unassisted steps here & there. ❤️

It took over a month for my daughter to go from taking her first step to being able to walk across the bedroom without falling. And then another month until she became a confident walker

My little guy was walking all over the place 10 days after. He never crawled though, so I think he was extra stoked to be able to go places by himself.
