Could you date one of your old teachers?

My mom is 42 and I am 23- she texted me today and told me she was going on a date with her old high school teacher. I personally told her to have a good time and that I thought it was a little weird! I truthfully dont gaf if she does or not as long as she has fun and is happy ❤️ I couldn't do itttt but it made me wonder if anyone else would/has/or wouldn't! Fun little poll and open for discussion 🥰🥰

After 25+ years, it’s less weird. 
In my 20’s it’d be a little weird. 
It also depends on how active and involved in the class plus age difference. If it was a 23 year old teaching 16/17 year olds…that’s not a crazy age difference in their 40s. 
Now if they talk about how attractive you were while they were teaching you…that would make it weird.
My FIL married a women 16 years younger than him. He talks about how he remembers taking his kids to the library when she worked there at 16 and though she was soo hot. He would’ve been 32 lusting over a 16 year. It’s disgusting.

The more time that’s passed and the older you are, the less weird it is. Like a 18 year old dating their 25 year old former teacher… creepy. A 30 year old dating their 37 year old former teacher. Much less creepy. And at 45 dating your 52 year old former teacher, wouldn’t think twice about it. Hell even if they were 10+ years older, probably wouldn’t be too weird.
