Need all the opinions, PLEASE!!
Hi mamas!
Okay short and simple (kinda).. I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant with my fourth babe, we surprisingly conceived 3 months before our youngest turned 1. We found out about this fourth babe March 25th- from my first ultrasound appointment until 2 weeks ago, my due date was November 20th. Which has always made sense due to the fact that hubby & I know when we conceived (dang one night get away🤪) Anyways, 2 weeks ago my midwife informed me that my due date is ‘actually’ December 11th (no growth ultrasound was done or anything- she just said they decided to switch it after my ultrasound done at 24 weeks but didn’t inform me- which from what I’ve learned in my 3 past pregnancies- isn’t a reliable time to get a due date.. it also would mean that when we found out we were pregnant & saw a heartbeat on the scan, that I wouldn’t have even been pregnant yet. Confusing as crap!!!) & she told me that my fluid was low (at a 4 when two weeks prior it was at a 7, I’ve been getting cervical length ultrasounds since 21 weeks due to my last pregnancy delivering early) but yet she didn’t say any ultrasounds or NST tests would be continued to make sure everything stays good with baby. As well as she cervical checked me (due to losing my mucus plug) and I was already at a 2 almost 3. My cervical ultrasounds had also been at a steady ‘50% effaced’ my last 3 then at my last appointment she said my cervix thickened & I was back up to a 5??? My youngest daughter I had at 34 weeks 5 days, so I’m quite stressed on what to think. I have had all the same pains & aches this time around that I had with my daughter shortly before she was born. I already lost my mucus plug last week as well. I have all the pelvic soreness, pain & pressure, contractions that come & go and am already dilated. My worry is that if I stay with this midwife & god forbid do deliver around the 34 week mark, to my midwife’s new due date I would only be 30 weeks. Of course my goal is to go for as long as possible, but my babies have all tended to come early (37 weeks, 35 weeks & 34 weeks). I just Need opinions on what you mamas think- this probably isn’t favorable but I’m at the point where I feel my midwife isn’t taking my baby’s health serious, my last two delivered were great with my OB at a different hospital & I am leaning towards going back to him as I feel pushing out my due date doesn’t make sense. What do you ladies think?! I’ll take all the advice. Sorry for such a long post, I’m just so worried & confused & feel as if I’m being pushed around? Thanks babes💗
