How many hours your 10months old nap during the day?

All of a sudden my babe is napping 4hrs a day. Is that normal? His sleep at night is 9-10hrs.

Most 10 month Olds nap 2-3 hours; 4 hours is OK, but shouldn't be longer than that because baby needs to eat. All my kids slept 2 hour during each nap time, at 10 months old. And I did 2 naps per day and each nap was for 2 hours. I used to wake my child up if they kept sleeping once it was 2 hours. I didn't want them sleeping too much. Feedings, activities and sleeping through the night were most important--in my opinion--but for the most part my kids woke up after 2 hours of napping.
