We're never too old to experience sexual abuse, especially online. Why I brought this up is due to my share of encounters with online predators who wanted me to take inappropriate photos of myself. It definitely made my skin crawl with discomfort and disgust. Where these encounters have been occurring is on Facebook and Instagram. It's extremely scary. It'd be nice if all social media platforms would do background checks and prevent predators getting on there to find easy prey.
