My boyfriend of 4 years recently cheated on me. I caught him at another woman’s apartment while I was at work. He was always very mean to me. Called me lazy, mean, wouldn’t ever help with the kids and when he did he would yell at me about it, etc. all things I knew weren’t true. Now that I caught him cheating I knew I couldn’t stay with him, so we broke up. Ever since I told him I was done he’s completely changed. Trying to pretend to “get to know me again” by texting my dumb questions like where I’m from how many kids I have. Like wtf? He’s been really nice, complimenting me and taking care of the kids. I just wanna know why he’s doing all this now that I said we breaking up instead of doing it while actually in the relationship with me. I appreciate him trying but I don’t think I can get back with him. I’m trying to stay strong to my decision, but how sweet he’s being makes me

Question if maybe I should give him another chance. What do y’all think?
