Everyone knows - public secrets in the office
So I had this supervisor, he's married and he and his wife each have a teen of thesame age from previous marriages.
He is now a manager in a different department.
He's been having an affair with a person in our company for over 5 years. We all know it, the person who he's having an affair with is constantly posting on Facebook what they are doing but he is never in the pictures. It's either the food with a tagged restaurant or a hotelroom and a location.. things like that. The woman is very well aware that she's a side piece as his relationship is very much known.
We went out with him and his wife before, like on team events etc we were a very close team once so we all met all partners of our colleagues etc..
They had arguments about him not being faithful and he told her she was being delusional, so it's very clear they're not in an open relationship or anything..
I know you're not supposed to be wrapped up in other people's business.. but I am feeling very uncomfortable about it, I feel like an accomplice or something. surely I can't be the only one who feels uncomfortable either but I don't think anyone snitched on him either..
I feel slightly better that he's no longer my supervisor so I'm not confronted with his behavior anymore.. but I do still think this is wrong.
@anony mouse
he is actually HR manager at this point 🙃
@Gem & Hope
I met her twice maybe, and I didn't really chat with her. Why would she believe anything I say? I am a complete stranger to her and it's nothing to me. Especially because the guy isn't in my area anymore. Reason I posted is because side woman posted on Facebook again.. as I mentioned, he's never in the pictures so it's not like I can share that with the woman.
I think I should add that his wife doesn't 100% trust him (hence the argument they had on the team-event) because he actually was cheating on his ex wife with her 🤔
