Baby Has Arrived!

Sweet little Dylan Thomas was born 10-4-22 (due date was 10-10-22) at 2:27pm; weighing 7lbs 13oz💛 His birth was a bit traumatic. He was breeched, so my OB agreed to do a version. After they set me up with a spinal block; which didn’t fully work because I felt EVERYTHING. They didn’t realize this until they inserted my catheter and at that point they had already attempted to turn him twice with no luck. Finally they got me numb enough and attempted a third time. No luck and he started to go into distress. So they rushed to set up a c section and they tested me again to see how numb I was and again not nearly as numb as I should be. I was in hysterics and then they put me under. Basically one of the scariest situations I’ve ever been in. But now that he’s here all I can say is I’m so in love with him and grateful he made it💛 We’re both recovering well and he’s breastfeeding like a champ🥰
