Somebody rents 2 rooms in a 3br apartment because their adult kids have left home and they needed assistance with rent. I rent a room in that apartment. I’m in the process of trying to move out. My building management asked me for notarized proof of rental payments. The notary paper says it must be signed by the “landlord or property owner” but the woman im renting from is neither, she’s a renter herself. So would she still be considered a “landlord or property owner”? Or would I have to seek out her landlord somehow? Please help. I make electronic payments to her directly.
