Ultrasound for newborn
At my 36 week ultrasound they noticed a “urinary tract dilation” in the baby. They basically explained it as a small kink from the kidney through the urinary tract to the bladder. They said it could be nothing, even just a glitch on the ultrasound but now since baby boy is born he needs to get an ultrasound to make sure it’s just nothing. Has anyone’s newborn ever had an ultrasound? It makes me so scared 🥺 my son had to get something similar done when he was about 18 months old and I had to have him drink this horrible drink twice because he spit it out and cried the whole way through and then strapped him down to the table. I’ll never forget him screaming like that and I had to wait outside and could still hear him scream from outside the door so I’m so nervous 🥺
