Should I tell my bff I am pregnant?

Long story short: only my husband knows for now since our family live out of state. I have a best friend that lives pretty close to me, but we don’t see each other often. I will see her in 2 weeks, she’s been trying to have kids for the past 2 years and have to go through fertility clinic. I don’t want her to feel sad, so idk if I should tell her, but I don’t want her to find out through social media.

Tell her. I would NOT tell her over a phone call. I would tell her in person. A true beat friend, while she may be sad of her own struggles, will be happy for you. Don't apologize for your pregnancy, don't apologize for her struggles. I would tell her, let the convo pass and then ask her, how are you doing? At least my friend that went through infertility told me, she didn't like when people would say sorry to tell you I'm pregnant, or sorry you are going through this but I'm pregnant. She said it made her feel worse, like sad that her friends felt she couldn't be happy for them.

Yes tell her. Be sensitive to how she is feeling tho, you might not get a super excited response. Maybe do it via phone call so she can be upset in private if need be
