I am horrible at drinking water (lucky to even get 1 bottle in). Will I be able to breast feed?

Most women are able to breastfeed if they choose to. Yes it’s true you have to be hydrated, so if you are motivated to breastfeed your child, you will simply make yourself drink more fluids knowing that your baby’s nutrition depends on it. Keep a water bottle with you, and fill it at least 3x daily. Drink a full bottle when you wake up and a full bottle before bed. A habit I made was always keeping water by me, and chugging water every time I had to pump/breastfeed, and that helped a lot. Also keep snack bars by your bed because you will need to keep your blood sugar up and snack when you feed at night.

I hate drinking water too ! I breathed my youngest for 16 months and survived on tea and body armor drinks 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Your body will naturally adjust and you’ll be super thirsty. I remember the first couple times baby latched and it was like a desert 🌵 in my mouth! Seriously felt like cotton mouth and I had to drink tons of water. Trust your body 🙂

Body armor drinks were my go to! I hate drinking water too so that is what I always drank. Just stick to it and don’t give up, breast feeding is hard but so worth it!
