More then 10 movements an hour but still lower than usual?

Question

Hi ladies. I was wondering if anyone has had their bub move more than 10 times within an hour but the movements are still less than usual. Would I call my hospital for this or is it not a cause for concern as he is still moving the minimum required amounts in an hour. I’m 37 + 4 today.

The ultrasound tech I saw last week said usually their movements seem to decrease a bit at this point because they have less space to move around. If you’re feeling 10 in two hours I think it’s fine

Thanks so much for your replies everyone! I ended up calling the hospital after mentioning this to a few friends. They told me to come in and of course he started going crazy when I got hooked up. And is now back to normal kicking and punching non stop! Was a little worried as I hadn’t yet experienced a down day or slow morning with this pregnancy. 😊

There’s part of the days where my baby doesn’t move and I get worried. Then I drink orange juice and he perks right up! I think they have sleep cycles just like newborns do on the outside.

They move much less at the end as they run out of room, some days my baby is super active others he’s barely active, you know your baby so trust your gut

10 count in an hour Is good! Just two days ago my baby wasn't moving like his usual self. Just a random 1 movement that took hours to happen. I got concerned by the time I was getting ready for bed bcs he usually go crazy right before, but didn't. I  made my husband grab me some cold ice water and within a few minutes he caught hiccups and began going crazy. It definitely made me relieved bcs I was getting anxious and he made his 10 count finally. The next day he was back to normal.

I've heard the same as the above commenter. I've always been told as long as you're making kick counts you're good.
