What does your baby sleep in during the night?

My son usually sleeps in his Moses basket but it is getting small now and he ends up waking himself up when he kicks his little legs and feels the Moses basket with his feet. I’m stuck between putting him straight into a cot bed or to get a next to me crib or something bigger than a Moses basket. What does your little one sleep in? What would you recommend I get?

A bassinet by the bed for now, will switch him to his crib when he outgrows it or he starts rolling over. For my first this was around 4 months old.

My daughter sleeps in a bassinet for majority of the night and with me part of the night when she nurses. She will go to her crib at 6 months and her own room with her crib at a year.

We did straight crib in their own rooms with both my son and my twins. They sleep better and I sleep better. Their room is also closer for my husband to walk to then to walk around our bed to my side so very very close.

My son is next to my bed in a pack and play and has been since birth. I don’t plan on putting him in his room in a crib until he’s around 6 months.
