When to stop swaddling?

Hi everyone! First time mom here. My son is now 8 weeks old. He hasn’t shown any signs of rolling though. He has been swaddled most of the time for naps and night time sleeps. Sometimes he tries to break free from the swaddle but the other times, he seems to love it. So when do we normally need to stop swaddling?

The aap recommends 8 weeks old or signs of rolling, whichever comes first.

I dont think I stopped with my first until kiddo tried rolling and pretty sure it was after 8 weeks. Kiddo really liked their arms swaddled but legs free too. We did switch to Merlins and sleep sacks for a while to help with sleep training.
