Long story short I have Irish twins. (Children born less than a year apart) my first born has always slept with my husband and I and now we are realizing it was a big mistake because it’s all he knows I had a rough pregnancy and a hard time getting pregnant so I always wanted him right there with us.. he now depends on us to sleep with him and if he wakes up and were not in the bed he’ll freak out and scream…It’s to the point now my younger son is about to turn 2 and the older about to turn 3. My younger son takes notice that we sleep with the older one and is now constantly coming in the room and won’t go back to sleep unless I lay in there with him. Basically they are both doing the same thing and it’s so hard…He is sleeping in a toddler bed and sometimes he will fall asleep but then he’ll get up a few hours later to our room crying. I’ve been laying and sleeping on the floor in his room to comfort him so he will go back to sleep. They share a room and one is used to no tv (younger) and the other is used to tv on (older) it’s a mess. I try to get them to sleep in the room with eachother and it’s so hard to get them to sleep. When they finally fall asleep one wakes the other up in the middle of the night and it’s hell to try to get them both back asleep. I’m losing both my mind and sleep. I’ve tried a night light in there, nothing works. Can someone help me ?!
