Anyone else take migraine meds & still conceive??

Ladies, I’m feeling defeated today. I’m due to ovulate in a few days, but woke up with a horrific migraine (I’m a chronic sufferer) and had to take both my migraine med (Maxalt) and Excedrin for migraines (yes, it was THAT bad!). Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience and still conceived, as I’ve read such meds can essentially kill a mature egg…😞

Not sure what type of hormones you suffer from, but mine are hormonal and magnesium bisglycinate supplements and eating cooked broccoli daily has done wonders. I noticed the biggest improvement when I started adding the cooked broccoli to every meal. Hope this helps.

Take magnesium daily and you will prevent migraines: Google research on this and the American Migraine foundation/association confirms this. Went from 15 a month to zero personally. No need for Rx drugs. It is stupid simple and WORKS.

I try to avoid medication as much as possible and if it gets to an unbearable point i would take excedrine. Otherwise my body would be in stress and it is not good either.

I’d be interested to know this as I’ve had a five day migraine so far my tablets aren’t working. I didn’t know they could affect eggs?
