How much purée does your 6month old eat?

Three times a day? Twice a day? Half a jar? Full jar? Rice cereal? Any snacks like puffs, yogurt melts or teethers? Curious as to see what other babies are eating. Sometimes mine wants to eat the entire jar in one sitting! He eats three times a day, some days it’s a half a jar a sitting- other days he wants to eat a full jar for one or two of his meals! Still EBF and drinking plenty throughout the day. Just a hungry boy!

My little man is big eater. He eats solids 3 times a day - porridge (5oz of formula mixed with 2.5oz of cereal, usually oat or semolina), and purees for lunch and dinner, 4-5oz each meal. He has 3 bottles a day, usually 6-7oz of formula about 30-60min before the solids.

Barely anything. We havent done purees and just introduce finger food once a day. Sometimes her nap schedule doesnt align for bedtime so she doesnt get anything. She puts all of it in her mouth but not much is swallow. If we mash something or puree it, she doesnt want to eat it. I think as long as they are taking in milk its fine. I did see a post on solid starts about taking in too much purees, if it is affecting their milk intake.

Depends of the day. But our goal was and still is 3 times a day. We have a weight gain issue, I'm still breastfeeding her in meanwhile, and she won't take the bottle.

Maybe once or twice. We do combo feeding so sometimes he will eat a jar of purée and then eat some of what we’re eating for dinner. The only “snacks” I give him are teething wafers or frozen greek yogurt in his mesh teether and he’ll gnaw away on it while I clean the kitchen.
