Hi there! I went to my OB for my routine appointment and she did a routine ultrasound just to see if baby was head down/weight/etc. Everything has been healthy in my pregnancy, no issues or anything. We have never seen anything of concern on ultrasound and baby has consistently measured in the 40-50%. At this last ultrasound the dr said they may have seen something of concern in my baby’s brain. They saw a dark spot which can be fluid in the ventricles of the brain so they referred me to a MFM specialist. My baby’s head isn’t measuring large, my OB said they are just acting out of caution. The MFM specialist however can’t see me for two weeks, and which time I’ll be 38 weeks pregnant, so I am left to just worry about the “what ifs” for the next two weeks until we have more information.

Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? How did it end up?
