We are two days into whatever this horrible sickness is that my baby has. We just left the Dr… they wanted me to take him to the ER because his stool sample hadn’t came back yet but I got a call from the lab before we went and my 5month old has salmonellae. They just sent the antibiotic to the pharmacy, Dr says let’s see how he does overnight after the meds but I’ve been giving him fluids and letting him suck ice through his teether to keep him ok. He had a 103 fever which was so scary but it’s not that high anymore. Anyone have any tips or tricks to help and ease baby with this kind of bacteria? Anyone ever experienced this with their children?
