Plan b and long term fertility issues?!

So I have always thought that plan b should not be taken more than once per cycle obviously because of the high amounts of hormones and such, and you shouldn’t take it while ovulating because that’s pointless. It shouldn’t be used as birth control, and only to be used in emergency situations. For me personally, I have not taken plan b closer than Six months apart roughly. I think I’m total for my lifetime I’ve maybe taken it five or six times, maybe more give or take. I previously had an abusive relationship, rape was involved and I remember having to sneak away to CVS because I’d rather take that pill than have that mans child on several occasions... Now I’m in a much better place in life without him in it.

Anyway to the point, I was on the phone with a girlfriend of mine who said she had a conversation with her Gyno and they told her if she ever wants to have kids she shouldn’t take plan b more than seven times. Like excuse me what?? I’ve always heard that yes it has some dangers, but long term fertility isn’t one of them. I’m really confused now and nervous because of my dark past I’d rather not think about how many times I’ve taken it. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me and have not heard of this seven time rule from a Dr before? Does anyone know anything about this?
