Swollen eye from allergies?

I accidentally touched my eye after being near a cat and boom, that eye’s swollen😢
I took some allergy meds, but does anyone know what else to do to make the swelling go down? 
Looks like i got punched in the eye lol

I would do as the other comments said but also maybe try ice or freeze a spoon for a few minutes and stick it on your eye. Xoxo hugs

This happens to me. I have OTC allergy relief eye drops & they work faster than meds

Wash your face, apply a bruder mask (warm compress to the eye), get some allergy relief eye drops and freeze a spoon and place over eye to reduce swelling before going anywhere.

NSAIDs - Advil to help swelling. 
Wash face/eyes with water (soap for the face) 
Warm compress to the eye to help ease irritation. 
Wipe from corner near your nose to the outer corner of your eye. :) feel better!

Wash your face and hands and wait for the medicine to kick in. My husband has the same reaction from dogs.
