Any time someone I don’t know asks when I’m due I just say “oh I’m not” and watch the blood drain from their face. 
I’m due in March and clearly pregnant but I also like to have a good time 🤷🏻‍♀️

Stranger or someone I know well, I 100% of the time wait for them to mention it before I say anything about it.  I don't want to assume anyone is pregnant when they are not, even if they look very pregnant.  What if they just have a belly?  What if they have a tumor?  What if they had a baby but lost it?  There are too many possibilities. Once they make a comment I will ask them when they are due, etc, but only after they bring it up first.

I won’t ask for many reasons. Also being one that some women may not want to talk about it. They may just want to keep it as private as possible and with a growing belly it isn’t always the case for some. So I usually just leave it alone and if it is mentioned it is mentioned and if it isn’t then.. oh well 🤷‍♀️

A friend I worked with told me a story of the time she asked a woman when she was due, because she had a belly that looked like she was 8 or 9 months along. She had liver cancer. Don't ask

The only time I would ask is if it was something I needed to know for safety/medical reasons.  Other than that no reason to ask or speculate.

Unless it's in the context of a doctor's office or something that could cause possible harm to a baby then no. A tattoo shop, massuse, chiropractor,  skydiving (even indoor), ziplining, ect. are all acceptable reasons. You don't ask just to ask. You never know if a woman just looks like that or just got the news that her baby passed. I never ask.
