What's yalls opinion on not seeing a obgyn while pregnant?

I see a nurse-midwife but that is still a mid-level practitioner capable of monitoring and diagnosis and will move me to a higher level of care if need be. There are so many things that can go wrong in pregnancy and child birth, I’m not willing to put mine and my babies life on the line not to get prenatal care

If you live where you have proper access to prenatal care, do it. I work in maternal child health and it’s better to be safe than sorry. Take your prenatal vitamins and see your doc each month.

I only see a midwife and she comes to my house. 🤷🏽‍♀️ this is my 3rd pregnancy and I’ve never seen an ob or had a baby in a clinical setting.

In my country of origin every pregnancy is followed by an OBGYN. I currently live in the UK and here only high risk pregnancies get to see an OBGYN except if you go private then you can chose to pay an OBGYN. 
I don’t feel comfortable following a whole pregnancy with a midwife, I believe doctors are NECESSARY so we went privately and I’m so happy we did. I’m having a super healthy pregnancy, no complications but still it’s reassuring to be able to see an OBGYN during our check ups and know he will be there during the WHOLE process, including the delivery.

in my country we don't see them at all just see midwifes unless high risk then you see a specialist at the hospital

I been struggling bc with my insurance since 14 weeks im now 24 weeks n havent had any appointments bc i dont have insurance. Im trying to get it asap☹️

My friend travels with her husband who is a electrician. They move to a different location every 2 or 3 months. She hasn’t been her whole pregnancy and is doing very well 😊 depends on your situation. I personally feel like you don’t have to if you don’t want to 😁

Am not sure... but even with doctor as far as symptoms are concerned does not make much difference..😅 but seriously I feel more assured when doctor says your baby is doing good.. it's my personal thoughts...
