A good start to the morning
Mom of 2 boys, 2 years old and 2 months old and I like to think I have a decent routine with them, but yesterday was awful and this morning... don't even get me started. From 7 am until 9 am things went fine because that's when my toddler wakes up, 9-10 am.
I got both kids and headed downstairs after tidying up upstairs and did the normal routine of turning the TV on for my toddler, feeding the baby, changing their diapers and giving my toddler chocolate milk.
I let him help me feed the dog but he poured the food in the floor, which was the FIRST thing that irriated me but I reminded myself that it was OK and today would be better than yesterday
Fast forward to my attempt at breakfast for my toddler.
I burned 2 out of 5 pieces of bacon, burned the first attempt at the toast. My baby wanted to be held so at that point I had to do everything with one hand.
Got the toast out of the oven. Grabbed a small plate and knife in the same hand and sat the plate down on the counter. Trued grabbing the toast, burnt my finger, jerked my hand back (normal reaction), knocked the plate in the floor and it shattered, and the knife stabbed me in the side.
At that point I was done with today and very overwhelmed. So I sat my baby down despite his crying and finished plating my sons food, only for him NOT TO EAT IT
Now here I am with a baby that constantly cries because he wants to be held, every 5 minutes my toddler is either making messes or trying to bounce his brother out of the baby seat, it's just not a good Dat. Day 2 is just as bad as day 1
